Hello Hillside Innovation Academy Families! 

On behalf of our staff, WELCOME to Hillside Innovation Academy, home of the Roadrunners!  My name is Lilly Ellefsen and I am extremely honored to serve as your principal.  As the newest school in the district, we recognize the unique needs of our students and families. As such, we offer three educational pathways: virtual, homeschool, and the academy program.  We believe that positive relationships are at the heart of student success.  You will find our school to be a welcoming environment where all staff members truly care about the well-being of each student.   

We are dedicated to serving the needs of the whole child through personalized instruction.  To ensure all students have access to high-quality learning experiences, teachers thoughtfully provide engaging learning opportunities that promote curiosity and creativity, encourage scholars to collaborate, and take risks to develop into independent thinkers.  Our goal is for all scholars to progress through school with the skills, knowledge, and attributes necessary to make informed decisions and thrive as citizens of our local and global communities.

Of course, we cannot do this work without you! Through strong home-school connections, we know we will be able to ensure that every student is engaged, feels safe, happy, and is achieving high levels of academic success. We encourage you to become involved in our school community in a capacity that works best for you.  Please consider being a part of:
